Computer/iPad PoliciesStudents will generally use the same computer each time they come to the media center. Students' computers correspond with their classroom number.
No food or drink is allowed in the media center unless a medical reason exists. This includes water bottles and gum. Please note: the media center is air-conditioned, so it does not get unduly warm. Students may not change any settings on any school computer. This includes changing/rearranging icons, changing desktop background pictures, moving the dock from the bottom of the screen, changing the white on black option, turning on text to speech, etc. If any damage occurs to a computer while the student is using it, he or she should report the damage immediately to Mrs. Creek or any teacher. We will send the computer for repair to our technology department. Most repairs are minor and can easily be remedied. Students may not change settings on iPads unless directed to do so by a teacher or by Mrs. Creek. |
